Customer Service / Office Administrator
$22–$23/hour
West Chicago, Illinois, 60185
Mon–Fri, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm | 1-hour lunch
Temp-to-Hire Position

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative / Office Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service by answering calls, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues. You will also be responsible for operating the ERP system. Join a diverse and collaborative work team!
Responsibilities:
· Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
· Provide accurate information on products, services, and policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Process orders, returns, and exchanges promptly and efficiently.
· Resolve customer concerns or escalate them when necessary.
· Maintain and update the customer database to ensure accurate records.
· Identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions or services to support sales efforts.
· Perform general receptionist duties, including welcoming guests, routing calls, and managing correspondence.
· Collaborate closely with sales, warehouse, tech, and other departments to ensure timely and effective customer support.
· Support the Sales Manager (no direct sales involved).

Skills Required/Preferred
Qualifications:
· 1–3 years of customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
· Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills to handle customer interactions professionally.
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Physical Requirements
• Regularly required to sit and walk.
• Standing for 8 hours periods
• Frequently required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
